he confirmed that there will definitely be an American Live action Cowboy Bebop movie. He also confirmed for the first time that the show's lead character Spike actually survived the final episode of the beloved series and remains his personal favorite character.

To be more precise. He says that he never really confirmed that Spike died during the final scene and he leaves it up to the viewers to decide whether he lived or not.
He then joked around saying that he thinks spike was just sleeping at the time, followed by him laughing.
How that turned into "spike lives" is beyond me.

Ouais. comme Shepard dans Mass effect, il faut qu'ils arrêtent avec ça sérieux. Et même si il était vivant je vois mal cet auteur reprendre la série.
La vraie info de l'interview c'est le film live quoi.
